The Saint Elmo’s agency, which is part of the Serviceplan Group, joined Prodinger|GFB on July 1st 2017, one of the market leaders for innovative tourism advertising in the German-speaking area of the Alps. Munich, September 25th 2017 — With the integration of Prodinger|GFB’s tourism experts at Saint Elmo’s, the Serviceplan Group is strengthening its position in the growing tourism market. By joining Prodinger|GFB on July the 1st 2017, Saint Elmo’s is one of the market-leading agencies in tourism marketing. 55 tourism experts work for tourism market and innovation leaders in several locations in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol.

Saint Elmo’s Travel manages brands from all areas of the tourism value chain – from destinations, tourism organisations and associations, cable cars and infrastructure providers, and hotels to companies from the gastronomy, sport and leisure industries. Existing customers include, for example, Europe's biggest outdoor park AREA 47 (Ötztal), Dolomiti Superski, Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal, Emilia Romagna, Slowenien Tourismus, Sölden, Davos Klosters, Südtirols Süden, die Tirol Werbung and a series of top hotels. The travel team from Munich is now working together with the creative brains from Saint Elmo’s and the media experts from Mediateam360° in order to be able to guarantee integrated communications solutions for tourism customers in the future. The locations in Austria and South Tyrol continue working for market and innovation leaders from the respective regions.

“Our aim is to become the most important tourism agency for the German-speaking world and beyond. Together with Prodinger|GFB, we are introducing 25 years of tourism competence to Saint Elmo’s Travel. Along with the Serviceplan Group, we can now offer our international customers an all-round service as well as tailor-made and innovative solutions from a single provider,” said Hannes Haller, founder, partner and managing director of Prodinger|GFB. Hannes Haller, as a partner at Saint Elmo’s Travel, will drive the growth in the DACH area. He was added to the managing board by Managing Partners Verena Feyock and Stephan Kalinka, who have already been working for Prodinger|GFB for four years.

“Prodinger|GFB has already been successful in the German-speaking area in the Alps for many years. Together, we want to carry on this success story with Saint Elmo’s Travel, even outside the German-speaking area. We are excited for the future with a highly motivated team,” said Thomas Knauer, CEO of Saint Elmo’s.

Florian Freiherr von Hornstein, partner of the Serviceplan Group, added: “Tourism is one of the world’s most important growth markets, and at the same time business is becoming more international. This development goes together perfectly with the internationalisation of Serviceplan. That is why, alongside the Health & Life field, we have now built a second branch-specific communication offer with tourism within the Group.”

In Austria, Prodinger|GFB is going to continue to appear under the traditional brand names for selected customers.

The Saint Elmo’s agency group with locations in Munich, Hamburg and Berlin as well as eight international hubs for the support of tourism clients in Germany, Austria, South Tyrol and Switzerland implements integrated communication solutions. 200 employees work on integrated campaigns for customers such as Expert, Vodafone, SPORT 2000, Gelbe Seiten, Berentzen, Munich Airport, Generali, etc. The agency was founded in 2001 and is part of the Serviceplan Group.
